The Climate Conference held by the United Nations in Bonn, Germany is currently underway, and BMW notified attendees of their groundbreaking renewable energy strategy. The plan, which consists of sourcing the entirety of their electricity from renewable sources, will commence immediately and is set to be fully implemented by 2020. BMW has previously stated their goal of achieving 100% CO2-free production, and this is one (giant) step towards the milestone.
