The Collector’s Choice: BMW Launches Hyper-Exclusive Individual Editions

In celebration of its 30th anniversary in South Korea, BMW is upholding a unique tradition by launching a spectacular, highly limited lineup of Individual special edition vehicles. Available exclusively through the brand’s online shop, these five models represent the pinnacle of personalization, blending rare factory paint finishes, extensive carbon accents, and meticulous high-spec options into instant collector's items. The defining characteristic? Extreme scarcity, with production runs capped at just nine or ten units for each model globally.

The Grand Finale: M Performance Coupes and the M5 Touring Debut

Leading the charge is what may be one of the final special editions of the current-generation 8 Series. The M850i Gran Coupe Individual Dark Emerald Edition is an undeniable beauty, limited to just 10 units. Each model is finished in the luxurious Individual Dark Emerald Metallic paint, complemented by a carbon exterior package and sophisticated 20-inch black wheels. Inside, the exclusivity continues with Individual Merino black leather. The price for this refined coupe is approximately $111,000.

Perhaps the most significant debut in this collection is the M5 Touring First Edition. This limited-run G99 model is the very first M5 wagon to reach the South Korean market, ahead of the regular version’s debut. Production is capped at an astonishingly low nine units. Finished in the stealthy Individual Frozen Deep Grey, it is equipped with a carbon exterior package, performance-enhancing carbon-ceramic brakes, and the M Driver’s Package, which raises the top speed limiter to a thrilling 190 mph. This powerhouse wagon is priced around $130,500.

Flagship Luxury and High-Powered SUVs

The exclusive releases extend to BMW’s most luxurious and powerful flagships. The 7 Series is represented by the uniquely styled 740i xDrive M Sport Pro Individual Two-Tone Dravit Grey Edition. This model showcases the meticulous application of a two-tone finish, pairing Individual Dravit Grey with Black Sapphire, while the cabin is draped in rich Individual Merino Amarone leather upholstery. Just 10 examples of this sophisticated sedan will be offered at about $131,700.

Not to be outdone, the X7 Sports Activity Vehicle receives two distinct special editions. The top-tier X7 M60i Gunmetal Edition is built on the high-performance V8 model and wears the exclusive Individual Gunmetal II Metallic paint. It rides on massive 23-inch wheels and features carbon mirror caps and an Anthracite headliner, priced around $134,200 for one of its 10 units. The collection is rounded out by the diesel-powered X7 xDrive40d M Sport Pro Special Edition, which features a completely blacked-out exterior, an illuminated panoramic glass roof, and Individual Merino leather, available for approximately $108,400.

By combining an extensive list of standard options—often including elements typically found in the high-cost configurator—with severely restricted production numbers, BMW ensures that these special editions are truly something special for the early adopters and collectors who secure them through the brand's online platform.

The 2027 BMW 3 Series Redefines Itself in Gas and Electric

The most significant overhaul in the history of the BMW 3 Series is coming. For the first time, BMW is treating its most iconic nameplate to a parallel transformation, debuting a next-generation gasoline sedan and its all-new electric sibling, the i3 , side-by-side. While prototypes are still heavily camouflaged, the design direction is clear, and it promises to usher in a new era of aesthetics, power, and interior technology. The Neue Klasse Design Language Takes Over If you want a sneak peek at the 2027 3 Series, look no further than the recently unveiled iX3 electric SUV. BMW’s design strategy is aligning its gas and electric models, meaning both the new 3 Series and i3 will embrace the clean, modern look of the Neue Klasse platform. This shift finally moves away from the more contentious kidney grille designs of the recent past, favoring a flatter, tauter aesthetic with tidier proportions and minimal visual clutter. The key difference between the two sedans will be subtle: the com...

Facelift For Bavarian Police Force BMW Vehicles

For the better part of 20 years, Bavarian police cars were manufactured with silver BMW 3 series vehicles. Prior to the silver color scheme, these vehicles sported a white base coat. Recently, the Bavarian government has decided to revamp their BMW police vehicles in terms of a color scheme. The new color scheme draws inspiration from the nostalgic white base coat used prior to 2003.  Modeled after their previously utilized retro white, blue, and yellow color scheme, new Bavarian BMW police vehicles have gone back to their roots by shedding the apparently outdated silver and green paint job. All new Bavarian police vehicle will be manufactured from BMW 3 Series Touring models with the new color scheme. This shift comes primarily from BMW's discontinuation of the Glacier Silver base color for the 3 series, but a higher resale value for white vehicles might also be a variable.  In contrast to the prior white Bavarian police BMWs, the new vehicles will be manufactured with a Mine...
